HHI REGULATIONS FOR IRRIGATION

The Town of Hilton Head Island has adopted ordinances to regulate the use of water. These regulations apply to all property within the Town limits.

LANDSCAPE IRRIGATION SYSTEMS

The law requires that rain sensors must be installed on new irrigation systems and that existing irrigation systems be fitted with a rain sensor by June 21, 1994.

HHI LANDSCAPE IRRIGATION SCHEDULE

• Tuesday & Saturday (Even Day) - Single ­family residences with street addresses ending with the numeral 0,2,4,6 or 8 or letters A-M.

• Wednesday & Sunday (Odd Day) - Single-family residences with street addresses ending with the numeral 1,3,5,7,or 9, or letters N-Z.

• Monday and Thursday - Commercial/Office/Hotels/Condominiums/Property Owner's Associations
